Lyncryst Collies Show News and Brags... 7/1/07  Cora wins the Best Side Gait class at the GBCC Virtues Match under judges Sue Fabeck, Carole Stanley and Caroline Jones!  She was also a top finalist in the Best Muzzle, Best Expression, and Best Movement classes!  Not bad for her first time out at 12 weeks of age!  7/7/07  Gryffin wins WD/Best of Breed  for 2 points under judge Shelia Polk over a nice entry of 11 at the Ann Arbor Kennel Club.  His mother Tessa wins WB/BOS to him at the same show. 7/8/07  Gryffin wins WD again and BOS today at Ann Arbor KC, Tessa is RWB (major). 7/13/07 Tessa wins WB/BOS today at Holland Kennel Club under judge Melanie Williams to finish her Championship!   Gryffin wins WD for another point. 7/14/07  Gryffin goes WD under judge Keke Kahn. 7/15/07 Gryffin goes WD/BW under judge Judith Goodin.  He is out of the ring for awhile to grow coat and will be out in the fall/winter of '08. 9/1/07  Tessa's online ad debuted today on Colliesonline.com  Link:  http://www.colliesonline.com/ad_archive_2007/lyncryst_090107.html 3/2/08  At the Greater Brighton Collie Club Specialty show, Gryffin won the Bred-By Exhibitor class with tough competition under breeder-judge Bob Hawkins Jr. While not a win that carries points, we are thrilled to have the Bred-By class win at a specialty show with such nice competition.  4/5/08 At the Saginaw Kennel Club show, Gryffin wins Winners Dog for 2 points and goes Best of Opposite Sex over the special under judge Donovan Thompson. 4/6/08 At the Saginaw Kennel Club show, Gryffin wins Winners Dog again for 2 more points under judge Carl Anderson.  Gryffin is minored out now. 4/26/08 At the Progressive Kennel Club show, Gryffin takes Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed for a 3 point major under well-known judge Patricia Craig-Trotter.  He just needs a major to finish and will return to the show ring fall '08 after his new coat arrives. 6/21/08 At the Greater Brighton Collie Club Sanctioned B match,  Mazie wins Best Adult in Match under judge Sue Wyglendowski, Kara Christo Collies.   Emma goes second in her class to her litter sister, Crystal (Westwend's Crystal Blue Persuasian).   Crystal goes on to win Best Puppy in Match and Best in Match!  Gryffin is proud of his young daughters! 6/2208  We are proud to announce that Gryffin has his first Champion son:  Can Ch. Aberlour's Dark Sorcerer, "Noah",  finished his Championship in fine style, after only 3 shows total! Noah was also awarded Winner's Dog, Best of Winners and Best Puppy at the Canadian National Specialty Show under breeder/judge Mike Esch (Signet Collies).  Congratulations to Pat and her lovely tri boy!
