CH  Lyncryst Silver Wizard  "Gryffin" (CH Society Edenrock Artic Sky HIC ex  CH Lyncryst Sweet Royale) bred by C. Murphy Gryffin was bred here at Lyncryst Collies and he is a very sound dog with an excellent rear assembly, as well as a clean balanced head with a pretty eye, well-placed stop, natural ears, heavy coat factor and a sweet expression.  He is the sire of our pretty young hopeful Emma, seen on our "Girls" page.  In April '08 at the Saginaw Kennel Club show, Gryffin went Back-to-Back Winners Dog both weekend days for a total of 4 more points to complete his minors.  At Progressive KC show two weeks later, Gryffin wins Winners Dog and Best of Variety from the bred-by exhibitor class for a 3 point major under respected judge Patricia Craig-Trotter. We are very proud of that win! Gryffin has been virtually undefeated at the All-breed shows during his short show career, including garnering two Best of Variety wins over nice competition before the age of 2 years. Gryffin has several of his get that are Champions or well on their way toward their Championships, including the 2008 Collie Club of Canada National Specialty Winners Dog, Ch. Aberlour's Dark Sorcerer, owned/bred by Pat Heming.  Update:  April 09, Gryffin goes Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Variety for a 3 point major at the Saginaw Kennel Club under judge Eric Ringle to finish his AKC Championship, just 3 weeks shy of his 3rd birthday!  He was breeder-owner-handled to all but 2 of his points.  We are very proud of our homebred blue boy!
